Cartridge filter

Self-cleaning cartridge filters are another dry air filtration system for any kind of dust.

They can reach a filtration efficiency of over 99% and can treat dust with an average particle size of up to fine dust (>0.5 µm). Under certain working conditions they can be an excellent alternative to bag filters.
 

The cartridge filter we build are equipped with a compressed air or mechanical shaking self-cleaning system, control panel and inspection hatches for cartridge maintenance. There are manifold techniques for collecting and conveying the filtered dust: rotary valves, augers, conveyor belts, pneumatic conveying, etc.

They are generally used to exploit their larger filtering surface area, which is about 10 times larger than bag filters of the same size. Their dedusting action is particularly efficient on types of dust that do not tend to compact, are not hygroscopic and have gas temperatures below 80°C.

Each filter is dimensioned according to the system specifications and can be ATEX-certified for particular uses, i.e., where explosive environments are created.
